I have lived in and out of a shell most of my life. If I needed to describe my life compared to an animal, I would say a tortoise. I played the peek-a-boo game for most of my life. When I was comfortable, I would live out loud but when walking on unfamiliar territory I would crawl in my shell and hide. After renewing my mind and reexamining the way I have lived, I have come to the conclusion that no matter what life will continue on with or without you.
