I'm a programmer who unexpectedly became an award-winning journalist and tweeted his way into social media leadership.

I helped create and implement social media strategies for news organizations across the United States, and organized Social Media Day Orange County, an annual event that taught hundreds of Southern California professionals how to grow businesses using social techniques and strategies.

Along my path, I designed interactive ads, became an editor, reporter and columnist, crafted online productivity tools and produced web sites. I blogged at Almighty Link, and was cited as "the future of media" in an article that appeared in the New York Times online.
