Kari Saratovsky

Kari Saratovsky is Chief Engagement Officer of Third Plateau Social Impact Strategies.

An innovative and entrepreneurial leader, Kari has spent her career working in both the government and nonprofit sectors building strategic alliances, directing programs and facilitating national efforts that advance social change. Her favorite role however, is that of connector — connecting passionate people, good ideas and new approaches to ignite social impact.

As Founder and Principal of KDS Strategies, Kari provided solutions to both national and local organizations, with a focus on innovative program design, strategic communications, and organizational change. She is author of “Cause for Change: The Why and How of Nonprofit Millennial Engagement” and is a highly sought after speaker on the topic of Millennial engagement. She frequently writes and blogs about the rising generation and how they are transforming the culture of institutions.

Kari served as Vice President of Social Innovation at the Case Foundation. As a member of the Foundation’s senior leadership, Kari helped set the programmatic direction of the Foundation and managed cross-sector partnerships to strengthen civic engagement and accelerate new approaches to philanthropy.

With a lifelong passion for service, Kari served as Executive Director of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, a presidential commission to support and expand volunteer service throughout the country and around the world.

Kari is an avid volunteer and currently serves on the national board of Repair the World and is an advisor to Fuse Corps and the Millennial Action Project.
