Kevin Schachter

I am an Information Manager, parent, and aspiring curler living in Treaty One Territory (Winnipeg) and fueled by third wave coffee.

I utilize information technology and social science for social service. I am passionate about deriving insights from data and mobilizing knowledge to make things better. I have 11 years experience in nonprofit social services, two decades in the IT sector, and two degrees in sociology (MA, University of Manitoba; BA Honours, University of Winnipeg). My research focuses on nonprofit programs that promote the take-up of income support benefits by low-income community members.
