My life changed drastically when I made the decision to leave my twenty-four year marriage in 2009. Nothing could have prepared me for the injustices bestowed on me by lawyers, judges and the entire legal system, which in my opinion is a chaotic joke at best. I lost most all my material possessions including the home I owned, my car and household belongings. I was a stay at home mother for over twenty years and was left with a financial nightmare with no one but myself to figure it out. I have three amazing grown children and the time of my divorce I was awarded full custody of my youngest son who was twelve at the time and is now a college freshman. It took me years to get over the anger I felt back then and I truly had to reinvent myself as a woman. At the present time I work two jobs and go to school at UCLA. I was one of ten people selected for "The UCLA Writer's Program" Scholarship in August 2015. My scholarship essay was about my soon to be published best seller "The Displaced Princess". My story of how a once princess style gal got up from the ground, dusted herself off and went for her dreams. I am a fierce advocate for single mothers, a group of women who are the strongest and most vulnerable and often overlooked and judged. Come along with me as I share my life, my hopes and dreams and watch me as I become one of the top motivational speakers in this country!
