Karla Sosa

My name is Karla Sosa, I grew up sitting next to my parents watching sports. We would watch Scottie Pippen team up with Michael Jordan during their glorious days with the Chicago Bulls, we saw Mexico’s best boxer Julio Cesar Chavez win by knockout, as a family we always enjoyed watching Mexico’s National Soccer Team. Little did my parents know that after France’s World Cup in 1998, I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I wanted to be a sports reporter and one day cover the World Cup. With that goal in the back of my mind, I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Spanish from California State University, Long Beach in 2010. I’m currently working at MundoFOX, and working my way up into becoming the sports reporter I have been dreaming about since I was 10 years old.
