Kiera Spronk

Being an island girl in a big city definitely offers a unique perspective. I was born on the small Caribbean island of Antigua, but my dream of becoming a journalist drew me to Toronto. Now I am a first year student at Ryerson University, finally living the dream. It is a little intimidating being only 17 years old, and adjusting to all the new experiences that come with the city life, but I'm counting on the fact that sheer determination, enthusiasm, and a little island girl charm will get me where I'm going.
