Katelyn Stauffer

Katey is a third year graduate student at Indiana University where she is pursuing a Ph.D in Political Science. Katey primarily studes American politics and methodology in political research. Her research interests include voting behavior, issues of representation, gender and politics, and legislative caucuses.

In recent work Katey has explored the role of gender in individual perceptions and evaluations of representation. This work has utilized unique survey data as well as experimental methods. Additionally, Katey has received training in Hierarchical Linear Modeling (through ICPSR).

Currently Katey serves as an editorial assistant for Perspectives on Politics,where she manages book reviews for the Political Theory section.
