Katherine Stone
I have spent the majority of my life to date in Texas but recently relocated to Colorado to experience the four seasons, cleaner air, and of course to have an inexhaustible supply of inspiration.
Since a young age I have been fascinated with photography. You might even say it was in my blood. My Grandfather, Father, Aunt and Uncle were all involved in photography ranging from hobbyists to owning their own businesses. Through them I not only gained a real love of being behind the camera but the art of capturing the stories and beauty hidden inside everyday life.
My photographs have been included in exhibits at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Heritage Auction Galleries Art Show.
My award-winning images have been published in Texas Highways along with promotional material for the Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival and the Great Smokey Mountain Railway.
I graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Art History and I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
