Hello, I’m Khaleda. I’m a small business owner living in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have completed an Honours and Masters in Botany from Dhaka University and pursued molecular genetics for a while. In 2010, she started exporting jute-based products to Japan and Europe (UK, Denmark, Netherlands and Norway) through my friends, family and relatives. On 2012 I have established my company - Jutemart & Craft in Bangladesh. The majority of the company is the women worker. Apart from export, she produces jute-based products for local retailers, corporate events and export agents.
