Real Estate, Photographer, and Vinyl Design
Katie is a jack of all trades and a master of none! She runs a running group (pun intended), loves photography, crafts and dabbles in vinyl design. All this while trying to keep Savannah & Beyond Real Estate Team on track for the big time!
Here’s a brief history of who I am, what I do, and why you should probably follow along on my journey into Real Estate...or photography, or vinyl. Heck maybe you may even want to come on a run with me one day. I worked my way through college waiting tables at a couple different restaurants around Savannah. Once I finished college, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I continued waiting tables until my husband, Ron and I were expecting our first daughter. Long story short, I was put on bed rest, so no working for me! I really didn’t want to go to work and put our daughter in daycare, so I stayed home with her for a couple months. I started working for my parents (aka Savannah & Beyond Real Estate Team) when London was 3 months old. I was able to work from home, mostly computer stuff. London is now 6 years old, in 1st grade and is so smart, sometimes it surprises even me! Ron got into Real Estate and started working with us a couple years ago. So, we work together now, at least he has his own office!
I have a great group a gals here in Savannah! I am the chapter leader for our local running group called Moms Run This Town-Savannah Chapter. I never thought it would happen, but I broke out of my shell a couple years ago and started a group where people looked up to me on how to train for races. For those that know me, I normally don’t do that. I have officially ran 20 half marathons, 5 Ultra marathons & 1 marathon along with numerous 5k’s & 10k’s. Running Savannah is what I love to do!!
Photography has been a huge passion of mine for years. My first camera was a beautiful SLR that my parents bought me while I was in high school. It was less than a year later, that camera was stolen and so was my heart! I cried over that camera, who knew that in just a couple years digital was in. I think whoever stole it got the raw end of the deal. Now with my DSLR on my side I have shot weddings, new born shoots, maternity shoots, heck I even have done my own family pictures. Once I started working in the Real Estate field, I realized photographing subjects that DON’T MOVE was more of my style! I now stick with shooting listing photography for many local agents in the area.
