In an ongoing effort to do something-- anything, right, I will declare myself to be a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a teacher, a reader, a lounger, and a cleaner of chicken coops.

I ride horses and plant flowers and play tennis with my friends. I am not good at winter. My children fill my heart.

I am older than I think I should be, and I still don't know anything. When I grow up, I want to be able to engage in wordplay and shotgun a beer. This blog is my journey.
