Jakub Kostecki
Entrepreneur, Father, and Volunteer in Boulder, Colorado
I've been an entrepreneur for 20 years in the U.S. and overseas (Europe and Africa). I've run several SMEs and three startups in the enterprise/B2B space.
I've had great success and massive failure. I've made a lot of mistakes and have grown a $10mm ARR business in 12 months.
As such I believe I'm in a unique position to help investors identify both opportunities and risks in the startup investments they are considering.
I use my 20 years of good and bad experience (including some as a bad actor), together with a variety of artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing and other tools (www.StartupFactcheck.com), to allow early-stage investors to quickly screen and do deep due diligence on the startups they want to invest in.
I'm a sober alcoholic, husband of 15 years and a father of 4.
I take care of the people I love, I try to love myself and I run, eat vegan and climb/hike/kayak to get there.
We've been in Boulder for 2 years and are loving it.
I actively participate in the community (I ran the Investor Track for Boulder Startup Week and hope to continue that) and am involved in the startup world here in Colorado. I also volunteer with a local search and rescue team and am very involved with my children's schools.
