Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, I recently migrated to the tiny, barren land of Toronto, Ontario… you’ve probably never heard of it.

After spending a year at the University of Alberta, I have made the transition to Ryerson University to study journalism.

If I had to simplify myself to a handful of adjectives, I would say that I am an immense believer in following ones wanderlust while maintaining a healthy combination of both cynicism and hopefulness.

My dream is to work at a fashion magazine (again such a rarity), but would also like to dabble in various types of journalism.

I am a hoarder of tea, magazines and pillows. Never one to turn down a Sex and the City marathon, I consider Carrie Bradshaw to be my spirit animal.

I appreciate whimsical and witty writing (apparently also alliteration). I think that reading and writing should be fun; we should embrace beautiful words and a dry sense of humour while still being active couriers of insight.
