I am the CEO of Nigeria’s fastest growing publishing and educational institution company WORDS RHYMES & RHYTHM LTD (www.wrr.ng).

I built WRR from a Facebook based social reorientation poetry platform into a major player in the Nigerian writing and publishing industry, owning Nigeria’s largest poetry sharing platform (www.poetry.wrr.ng), Nigeria’s only online poetry college (www.college.wrr.ng) as well as Nigeria’s only author resource website (www.authorpedia.wrr.ng).

As one of Nigeria’s leading poets, I have through WRR set up several poetry projects to encourage young poets – WRR-CAPRECON GREEN AUTHOR PRIZE, ALBERT JUNGERS POETRY PRIZE, ERIATA ORIBHABOR POETRY PRIZE, WRR #YouthENGAGE INITIATIVE, and other projects.

Professionally, I am a seasoned multimedia journalist, web content manager across several CMS platforms, editor, and public speaker.My journalism experience spans several years, beginning with a reportorial role at Media Trust Limited, publishers of Media Trust Ltd to my present role as Communities Editor at Ringier Nigeria (Pulse.ng).

My book, What Can Words Do?’ was published in 2013. One of the poems in the book, ‘Where is The Breathe of Fresh Air’ won the Orange Crush 1st Prize for Poetry 2012. I run the CandidLAGOS initiative (www.candidlagos.tumblr.com), a street photography blog aimed at showing the unseen parts of Lagos.

My ultimate aim is to inspire change with the social media which is a major aspect of the lives of most youths today.
