Firefighter Control in West Midlands

View my portfolio

As a Firefighter (Control), I handle emergency calls and emergency resources for two fire and rescue services in the United Kingdom. This is an incredibly dynamic role I am proud to hold, covering the incredibly diverse regions within the area I cover. I am pursuing qualifications from the Institute of Fire Engineers and across the fire sector to develop my knowledge and skillset further.

I have a passion for volunteering and community service, which I have demonstrated through my involvement in Fire Cadets and Police Cadets for over nine years, both as a young person and a young adult. I have contributed to various fundraising efforts throughout my volunteering history, and I am always looking for ways to support and influence others, continually looking forward to developing my traits and skillsets to support my career in the future.

I am a keen advocate for prevention work, teaching and supporting young people, in order to help them learn and develop life skills for the future and have a passion for technology.

Alongside my role as a Firefighter (Control), I volunteer as a Fire Cadet Instructor, teaching and working with 11-17 year olds to develop life skills and knowledge about the Fire & Rescue Service, providing them with the experience I have held as a Fire Cadet previously.
