Always been a hands-on person. Be it cooking, building engineering equipment or showing my 3 yr old nephew how gears work.
But dont get me wrong. By hands-on I mean I like to be surrounded by the pieces of puzzle that click together to complete the picture that is posing a problem. I like to learn the ups and downs of the process myself before I ask someone to follow me.
Working in manufacturing operations came very naturally to me since it offered me a chance to be a hands-on problem-solver. But soon I realized a dearth of challenges that followed in the name of efficiency. as i learnt more about myself I realised that I cannot survive intellectually in the mundane day to day work of mfg. i need something that throws me completely off the course.
