Kurt Kattrein

With more than 25 years of professional experience in his field, Kurt Kattrein co-owns Wolf Aviation, LLC, a highly regarded aircraft dealer and charter broker based in Syracuse, New York. Offering on-demand chartered flights throughout the United States, Mr. Kattrein's company owes much of its success to a forward-thinking operational model that emphasizes customer service and cost effective hourly flight rate plans. Along with business partner Jennifer Goodman, Kurt Kattrein strives to ensure that every client who chooses to travel with Wolf Aviation enjoys the best in luxury and convenience. To accomplish this goal, he has secured proprietary agreements with a select group of Federal Aviation Administration credentialed Aircraft Operators, a move that enables Wolf Aviation to extend discounted rates for some flights or negotiate decreased repositioning fees at a number of airports across the country.

Through Wolf Aviation, Kurt Kattrein maintains ties with an international network of leading airline sector enterprises and works in close collaboration with research affiliate JetNet to provide best in the industry transactional assistance for corporate aircraft sales. A skilled and knowledgeable negotiator, Mr. Kattrein spent the early portion of his career buying and selling planes for Syracuse Executive Air Service, Inc., an organization he eventually purchased and built into a multi-million dollar company. Although he sold Syracuse Executive Air Service to Patrick Barrett in 1990, Mr. Kattrein remained onboard for several years in order to supervise aircraft sales. He left in order to launch Wolf Aviation in 1994.

Kurt Kattrein undertakes a wide range of recreational pursuits aside from his engagement with Wolf Aviation. An avid hunter and expert fisherman, Mr. Kattrein is also a certified scuba diver, water skier, and part-time magician. Happily married for 22 years, he and his wife have three children and presently reside in Upstate New York.
