Kush Mahan

Kush Mahan, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, is a 2010 graudate of Bates College. During his time at Bates College, which is located in Lewiston, Maine, Kush Mahan Majored in Psychology and was a member of the Bates College Men's Squash team throughout the entirety of his undergraduate career.
As a Member of the squash team, Kush Mahan was a natural leader and brought in a number of victories for his team. He even defeated the number one ranked college squash player from Trinity College, which was a tremendous upset for trinity- thus a tremendous win for Kush Mahan and the rest of the team.
Currently, Kush Mahan is a graduate student at Columbia University, in New York City, where he is pursuing his master's Degree in Global & Public Health. He hopes to one day work within the non-profit world, seeing as he has had a great deal of experience volunteering/working with some prominent non-profits during his college career. He also recently co-founded a non-profit with a close friend of his, which is called MindBright Foundation. This organization aims to make mental health care more affordable and available to those who live in lower-income neighborhoods in New York City and are not necessarily abile to get the mental health care they need.
