Kushagra Srivastava

I, Kushagra Srivastava, have been closely associated with personal and professional development activities and have served as a Mentor within the International Students Reading University (ISRU) Society at The University of Reading; I was dedicated to assisting students in their first year of college. Organizing Group-in sessions and technical events for first term freshmen before the start of each semester, supervising a group of students for each session throughout the summer were a part of my responsibilities.
I have recently completed my post-graduate studies at Henley Business School (The University of Reading) with a merit where I pursued a Masters Degree in International Business, and graduated in December 2012.
In my academic career, I won national awards for outstanding paper presentations in prestigious Institutes in India, including Indian Institue of Technology (IIT) Rorkee and Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) in the Business concentration. I have also been the former President of the IEEE Unit (Delhi Chapter) and have held positions of Vice-President at College and School community. I am also very avid about sports, owing to which I played Football till the Zonal-level, and have been a state-level Swimmer as well. I have won laurels in skating, sketching, and cricket too.

I would like to work for an organization where I can apply my academic knowledge in the working field and ultimately contribute to the growth of the organization.

Recently I was working on a project titled 'Future of Carbon Trading in Real Estate Industry' which tends to underpin the impact of financial crisis on Real Estate industry and eventually relate it to the carbon trading schemes amongst the developers. This is a futuristic project which projects a scenario based market in 2020. It is an attempt to figure out how government policies impact the carbon prices and carbon credit system.

I have always taken studies seriously, and knew, in a highly competitive field like International Business, being the best is the key to success. I have always had an aggravation to work, and have shown dedication to move ahead of others. This motivates me that anything is possible through sacrifice and hard work. I can guarantee excellent work ethic, quality performance and 110 percent commitment.
