Hi, I’m Kushal and I love to cook. Coming from a joint family who loves to host, we always have people over at our home and even if we do not have company, we had a family of 10. Ranging 3 generations and different cultures of India and America, we all had a unique taste palate. Everyday we made at least 2 main dishes and 3-4 side dishes varying across different cuisines such as traditional Indian food, Tex-Mex, or Italian food. These moments in my upbringing, rooted my love for cooking. Over the year of quarantine in 2020, I found my moment to start experimenting in the kitchen. At first it was just coping recipes but I slowly started to understand the science behind the kitchen. I observed how flavors developed and reacted to certain changes in temperature or timings and I learned how to cook to satisfy the cravings of all three generations in one meal. I started making my own dishes such as makhani pasta and paneer and bean quesadillas. This also encouraged me to share my love for cooking with others, so I created an instagram blog to post my recipes and I gained over 100 followers in a span of a couple months. I sadly had to deactivate my account recently due to time constraints. Even today, I love having friends over and cooking all their favorite dishes, because I believe the best memories always occur around a dinner table.
