Kushal Oza was born in Ahmedabad in 1989. He did his schooling from Ahmedabad and pursued B.E. in Electrical Engineering from G.H.Patel college of Engineering and Technology, Vallabh Vidhyanagar with Distinction. He immediately joined Adani Power Ltd as Graduate Engineer. Adani power is located at the west coast of Gujarat named Mundra Port and , it is world’s 3 rd largest power plant in terms of Generation Capacity (4692 MW –coal fired). He gained Experience in Operations dept and was the operations team member of 660 MW super critical unit #5. Later he opted for higher education and joined IIT Madras in Dept of Electrical Engineering. During his entrance exam (GATE) preparation time, he also served as a lecturer in H.G.College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. He dealt with Electrical Machines and Networks and circuits.From the same entrance exam (GATE) score , he also got an offer to study and work with Department of Atomic Energy at Bhabha atomic research centre (Govt. of india undertaking),but he joined iit madras. He is currently doing his research in the field of High voltage technology and deals with the stator coil insulation based on epoxy and nano composites. His areas of interest are High voltage engineering, power system stability, power system protection, synchronous machines and transformers.
