Hey there everybody, my name is Martin. I’m a chef from Macedonia, who loves to prepare vibrant and colorful meals packed full with fresh organic produce and herbal ingredients from the mountain belt west from where I grew up.
I’ve been preparing Macedonian food for the better part of my adult life, and definitely enjoy bringing traditional recipes on the table. Finally conquering the west, Macedonian food is making a name for itself and I plan to contribute as much as I can.
Whether that is Bakrardan, Ajvar or Tavce Gravce, or perhaps Turlitava and Stuffed peppers, I hope that one day one of my recipes will find a place on the menu of a world renowned restaurant, and I will be proud to have promoted traditional Macedonian cuisine, and some of the dearest recipes from my childhood.
I’m an avid traveler as well, who loves to visit places of breathtaking beauty. You will find me hiking on a weekend, and I also love to ride my bike through dense forest scenery, discovering new trails with each and every turn.
