Kayla Vigneaux

I am a student at Georgia State University. I will be graduating in December of 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, a minor in Speech Communication and a certificate in Event Management. I am fascinated by the Public Relations industry and am excited to couple the experience I have gained from working with Primrose Schools for eight years with the education I have received in college.

I believe talent can only take you so far. That to truly be successful in life you must work at it with all you have. When I am not studying for my classes, I enjoy reading and writing. I am a big history buff and could spend all day learning about pre-colonial American history as well as the lives and legacies of our past president's. I also enjoy reading about public relations. I have taken the time to study experts in the field such as David Meerman Scott and Mark Ragan. I am a huge fan of Dana Perino and hope to one day be trusted the way she was in such magnitude.

Other than school, my husband and I are big into training and competing in triathlons. I have been running for years but have recently directed my efforts towards training for a half ironman in September this year.

I adore my family and am ecstatic about my new upcoming career. I have dreamed of this my entire life and cannot wait to get started.
