Kannan is a technology professional having more than 20 years of experience in Technology, Business Analysis and Project Management in domains like Travel, Education and Finance.
In his career, he was part of the founding core team of IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd) which was instrumental in the successful launch of irctc.co.in, the online train ticket booking platform which turned up to one of the industry first in various aspects pertaining to eCommerce, online payments and travel technology.
Later after a short stint with Wipro Infotech, he moved on to manage the Application Development team for Thomas Cook India Ltd., designing, developing and managing their online website thomascook.in, apart from leading a team that built various applications for various lines of businesses in Thomas Cook India.
He is an MCA (Masters Degree in Computer Applications) by qualification, and has attained basic certifications in Network Management and Information Security. He has experience in all levels of Software Product building process, including software and infrastructure architecture, development, deployment, management with keen eye on security, scalability and stability.
