Kwabena Boamah is an executive with over 8 years diverse global experience across the Financial Information Technology sector including Emerging Markets, Sales, Strategy and Planning.

As a Treasury specialist within the Financial and Risk business of Thomson Reuters, he is responsible for growing P&L and monitoring/ responding to competitive practices; including the impact of technology, regulation and legislative changes on the business within the West African Region. He advocates and lobbies policy makers to ensure an awareness of the capabilities of Thomson Reuters solutions and products in their operational environment prior to decision making. His specialty is in driving sales of complex technology solutions and consultative based services.

Prior to that, he was the Country Director-West Africa for Bloomberg LP. There, he had the responsibility of developing and executing all aspects of Bloomberg's growth plans in the region including sales, marketing, events, partnerships, product development and localization. Kwabena transformed what the company viewed as transactional relationships within the global accounts segment (the largest banks in the world) to one of strategic partnerships. With key responsibility for driving new business growth, competitive displacements and revenue protection within key global accounts, his book of business was in excess of $25m in annual revenues.
