Agudor Kwaku Agabas

I’m Agudor Kwaku Agabas. I’m an entrepreneur, an environmental enthusiast, a social media specialist and an HND in Accounting graduate from Tamale Technical University. Currently the Co-Founder & C.E.O of AppCyclers.

Growing up in Buipe, a local community in northern Ghana. I have always had a huge love and admiration for nature. I remember helping my junior high school and senior high school planting trees to help preserve our local green space. I believe with my love for nature and the knowledge gained from my business background I can influence change by building sustainable businesses to solve environmental problems in Ghana.

I am also privileged with three years of experience in the entrepreneurship hub network in Northern Ghana. I’m passionate about building communities and connecting with people to solve problems and promoting an eco-friendly environment.

In October 2020, I led my team in organizing an E-Waste Awareness Campaign Week. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness and sensitize the youth and the general public on the challenges and opportunities associated with electronic waste. It was carried out on three platforms, a radio discussion, social media campaign and a webinar where we had Joshua Palfreman, a Freelance Waste Management, Recycling & WASH Specialist, share with us his experience in the waste management industry.
