Vincent Kwan
San Francisco, California, United States
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington in a small diverse neighborhood named Beacon Hill. I received my Bachelors of Art in Political Science and American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington. Currently, I am a student at San Francisco State University pursuing my MA Degree in Asian American Studies.
I am a huge advocate for educational equality and social justice. I was involved with a non-profit organization called the University of Washington Dream Project which allows undergraduate students mentor low-income, first generation high school students with their college and scholarship applications. Through this program, I became highly involved with education and social justice through education. Now it's my passion to become a professor to teach and research how we can change our educational system.
