Kabale Women in Development

Kabale women in Development (KWID) is a non-profit, non-political vulnerable persons organization operating in Kabale District with its offices located in Kyabuhangwa Parish Kamwezi, Kabale District. It was established in 1996 to enhance social, economic, cultural and political development to empower its members and beneficiaries to exercise their rights and spur development.

This social contract provides a coherent frame work with in which poverty, ill health, unemployment, illiteracy, poor leadership, oppression, harassment, neglect, abuse, environmental degradation, hunger and disunity can be effectively addressed

Mission: “Empowering vulnerable persons to address hindrances to their advancement through advocacy, networking and capacity building
