I was born and raised in the town of Hilo, Hawaii and am of German, English. Japanese and Hawaiian descent. My husband and I have raised five children whose families descend from even more countries from around the world. One of my greatest passions is researching family histories and the stories behind the names on the ancestry tree. Voices From Our Past is one way I can do what I love to do and that is also helping others to find the stories behind the names of those in their ancestral lines.
