Aloha from Converse, Texas!

Hello, my name is Kristie Nakamura. I'm 23 years young and living in Converse, Texas currently. I'm Japanese and I love seafood and pasta, usually combined. I have a brother, 18, and sister, 7. Yes, there's a huge age gap between us! I enjoy going shopping, traveling, and occasionally to the gym. I've been trying to get back in shape at Planet Fitness, but school and work is taking over more and more of my time lately. My boyfriend, Rodney and I have been together for 5 years so we're practically married. We live together and fight together, but we love each other.

My life began in the beautiful Hawaii where I was born and raised. My family is currently in Hawaii and I definately miss home and everything there! I plan on going back home after I graduate this winter! I'm so excited to graduate and to finally be going back home for a little while.

I'm currently a senior at Texas State University with a major in mass communication and minor in studies in popular culture. I will be graduating on December 12, 2014 with my Bachelors of Science degree. You're all invited!

I'm working as a server at Cheddar's Casual Cafe. The job isn't my favorite, but it gets the bills paid and the people I meet there are awesome. The people I serve can be a pain, but that's how I make my money. I can't wait until I can graduate, but then I really have to start growing up and doing adult things.

My goal from all of this is I really want to get a career, maybe in advertising or communications. When I get older and have money saved up, I want to travel everywhere and do amazing things. That is my life goal to be happy and successful.

I believe that my brand should be in a digital format because everything we do now has to do with the computer or phones. We no longer need to create something visually because technology can do it for us. So, as the world changes, we have to evolve with it and even if we don't want to believe it, technology pretty much rules everything now.
