Keith W. McIntosh is the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Information Technology Services (ITS) & Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Ithaca College. He provides vision, leadership, oversight, & management of the College’s academic & administrative information technology services, facilities, hardware, software, & staff. Develops a comprehensive, strategic vision for ITS aligned with & enhances Ithaca College’s mission. He oversees the ITS operating budget of about $11 million & leads 74 staff (5 direct reports) providing IT service & support for an undergraduate enrollment of about 6,300 students, 493 full-time faculty, 246 part-time faculty & 1074 administrative & staff employees. Before joining Ithaca, he was the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology (IT) & CIO at Pima County Community College District. He held various progressive IT leadership & management positions during his distinguished 24.5 years in the U.S. Air Force prior to joining Pima. Keith has a Masters of Business Administration degree (Summa Cum Laude) with a concentration in Information Technology Management from Trident University International (TUI) in Cypress, CA & received his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. Keith completed two years in the CIO Executive Council - Pathways Leadership Development Program. He was the inaugural recipient of the EDUCAUSE Rising Star Award in 2011, a Jane N. Ryland Fellowship recipient, EDUCAUSE, 2012, and a Leading Change Institute (formerly Frye Leadership Institute) Fellow, CLIR/EDUCAUSE, 2012. Keith is the Chair of the Board of Advisors for the Center for Higher Education Chief Information Officer (CIO) Studies (CHECS), Inc. He is also active in EDUCAUSE & is a recognized author and speaker.
