Karen Woolf, RN, MS, ANP-BC is an Evidence-based meditation specialist who teaches a systematic meditation to bring mindfulness into focus. She has been a healthcare professional for over 30 years and combines EBM, energy healing modalities, crystals and aromatherapy in her practice.Karen started her career as an RN. Her interest in holistic medicine started with training at her institution by Delores Krieger, RN. Delores was a pioneer in nursing leaders with a vision to increase healthcare professionals’ use of alternative methods of healing. After learning Therapeutic touch and incorporating healing touch in daily patient care, Karen’s interest sparked in energy healing modalities. She pursued Reiki and became a Reiki III Master.By 1996, Karen became a Board Certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. Her specialty being Internal Medicine combined with energy healing, aromatherapy, use of herbal supplements to optimize the health of her patients. Since that time, Karen has studied shaman energy healing and most recently became a Meditation Specialist Teacher. Currently, Karen is completing her board certification in EBM Meditation.Karen is a holistic health care practitioner with a passion for incorporating traditional Western Medicine with mind-body modalities to maximize an individual’s health and wellbeing.
