Kyle Morrow
Ottawa, Canada
I am a 23-year-old student originally from Ponoka, Alberta. I am currently studying common law at the University of Ottawa. I am primarily interested in employment law, corporate law, election law, and regulatory law.
Prior to law school, I obtained a political science degree (B.A. Hons) from St. Francis Xavier University. I graduated with first class honors and completed an honors thesis ("The Gay Card: Barack Obama, Same-sex Marriage and the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election").
In 2012, I was named the Alberta Liberal Party candidate for the riding of Lacombe-Ponoka. During the provincial election, I advocated for campaign finance reform, Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) reform, and education reform. I have volunteered on seven federal/ provincial election campaigns in four provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia).
In my spare time, I enjoy public speaking, coaching, swimming, scuba diving, running, reading, hiking, camping, and travelling.
