Kyle Shelnutt

Hi, my name is Kyle Shelnutt. If you're ever looking for me, you can probably start your search somewhere near the lake. I'm originally from LaGrange, Georgia, but have recently found my second home in Athens, Georgia. Regardless of my location, I am bound to find a water hole to frequent. Whenever I'm home from school, though, I'm usually on West Point Lake.

I enjoy everything possible on the lake, which includes many physical and non-physical activities. Just to let you know, though, I'm always more easily persuaded to do the non-physical ones, even though it's usually not too difficult to persuade me to do anything.

My absolute favorite activity to do on the lake is chillin' out in my gravity chair. Whether under the dock or in the rays of the sun, my chair is my happy place. It's a chair that is flexible to sit in pretty much any position you prefer. It sounds great, right? It comes at my highest recommendation if you ever need a break from reality. It also couples well with some Kenny Chesney or Jimmy Buffet music, just in case you might've taken interest in that idea.

Anyone who knows me, or has met me before, knows that I lead a very hassle-free life. Sitting in my chair with a nice view of the lake and a cold coca-cola in my hand is the definition of a stress-free life for me. The lake is the perfect place to allow my true personality to be on showcase, as my only responsibilities are to figure out what time to go out for a refreshing dip in the water. I know, that probably sounds so stressing.

As far as my personality being reflected into my writing, I have been told that I have a very colloquial tone, a distinctive voice, and write in a very understandable manner. My writing usually avoids all the "bells and whistles" and gets straight to the point, as I try to save my reader from getting lost in a never ending road of words.
