Kyle Ford
Starting on a path toward a successful career in business, Kyle Ford enrolled at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, in 1988. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, he opted for military service and joined the United States Navy in 1992. While serving for four years as a Naval Officer aboard a Ticonderoga-class missile cruiser, Kyle Ford was deployed to the Persian Gulf to enforce United Nations sanctions, and to the Caribbean to support humanitarian efforts for Haitian refugees. He was also awarded the Navy Achievement Medal. Upon completion of his military service, Kyle Ford attended graduate school at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategic Management in 1998. Kyle Ford’s first job in the private business sector was as a Manager of Marketing Strategy Development and New Business Development at AT&T; Broadband and MediaOne in 1998. In 1999, he was promoted to the role of Director of Non-Traditional Sales Channels, where he negotiated contracts and created programs to expand AT&T;’s customer reach. Joining QuantumShift, Inc. in 2001, Kyle Ford served for two years as the Managing Director of Professional Services for the telecommunications and software start-up. He began working for Comcast Corporation as a Director of Sales in 2003, receiving increasing responsibilities through promotions to Senior Director of Marketing Operations in Northern California, and later to General Manager in Pueblo, Colorado. Currently, Kyle Ford is a Marketing, Sales and New Product Specialist at Sand Cherry Associates, where he has been putting his extensive experience in various fields to use, finding creative solutions for complex business problems since 2007. Outside of his work, Kyle Ford is an AYSO soccer coach and triathlete. He is also a member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing and a frequent contributor to Juma and his local PTA.
