Kyle Cushman

Kyle Cushman is a third-year Sports Media student at Ryerson University looking to make his name in the sports broadcasting business.

With podcasts "The KMN Show" and "The Green Flag", plus his articles featured on FanSided's Editor in Leaf, Kyle is consistently putting out content every week. He has garnered over 1000 followers on Twitter primarily due to his coverage of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Recent projects of his include a four-hour live stream during the first round of the NHL Entry Draft, moving "The Green Flag" to two two-hour episodes per week, and analyzing UFC 253 for a 30-minute in-class show.

Most of his time is spent producing content involving his two primary sports, hockey and auto racing, but his love for sports runs deep and across many different competitions.

Kyle has been an active member of extra-curricular broadcasts at Ryerson, often appearing as a host on RamsLive covering the men's and women's hockey teams. He signed off RamsLive for the 2019-20 season when he hosted the women's hockey team's final home game of the year, a double-overtime thriller against the University of Toronto.

Into the future, Kyle is looking to take his experiences from high school and university to break through into the sports media industry. He has aspirations hosting his own show on a major sports network.
