My work sits at the intersection of relationships, strategy, capital, execution, and story. Across my career, I have built companies, advised founders, supported family office investment activity, led business development efforts, worked with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, helped evaluate private and public market opportunities, and led nonprofit initiatives with national impact.

At my core, I am a connector and catalyst.

I have always been energized by people, from founders, CEOs, investors, philanthropists, family offices, and public figures to entrepreneurs, artists, advocates, and everyday people with extraordinary stories. I believe the right relationship, the right room, the right story, or the right strategic introduction can change the trajectory of a company, a mission, or a person’s life.

My experience spans family office leadership, private equity, venture building, payment processing, fintech, real estate, private aviation, capital markets, consumer brands, media, nonprofit leadership, addiction recovery advocacy, and founder-led company building.

Career highlights include:

• Founded and led Xcel Companies, a processor-agnostic payments advisory firm that has helped businesses process billions in electronic payments and save millions in processing costs.
• Served as President of Sandgaard Capital, a private family office with investment activity across real estate, private equity, professional sports, public markets, and operating companies.
• Served as Executive Director of The Sandgaard Foundation, supporting national overdose prevention, recovery, harm reduction, and public health initiatives that helped distribute more than one million doses of Narcan/Naloxone nationwide.
• Co-founded Opportunity Coalition, a leadership and events platform featuring founders, CEOs, chairmen, and senior leaders from organizations including RE/MAX, Keller Williams, the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, Molson Coors, Baby Einstein, 1stBank, El Pomar Foundation, the Daniels Fund, and the University of Colorado.
• Helped build and grow XJET, a premier private aviation brand serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and corporate principals.
• Appeared with my family on Animal Planet’s internationally aired series, Hanging with the Hendersons.
