Kyle Ferraro

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m a student at Chapman University and living in Orange, California. I am a college athlete and getting a major in mathematics with a minor in data analytics. I used to coach a baseball team for a 13 year old travel ball team that helped me understand what I should and shouldn't do when trying to help teach kids. It is helpful to find ways to relate to them in order for them to understand and learn from you. I also intern for Juno Technologies in the summer, although it is just busy work, I learn a lot about how a boss can run a company and how that can translate to running a classroom. I want to one day be a teacher that my students can look up to and motivate them to advance their education. I plan on teaching math at a high school level and want to integrate technology into my class instead of sticking to what we are used to doing (going through a textbook). I also want my students to not only learn about math from me, but also life lessons because that is what the best teachers do.
