Kyle Gourgon is from Stittsville, Ontario. From an early age, Kyle began playing minor hockey and participated in high school sports. After high school, he was offered a full scholarship to Mercyhurst College (Mercyhurst University) for both his academic and athletic abilities on the ice. Kyle played hockey all four years of attendance and graduated school with a degree in business and finance. Kyle Gourgon was awarded the Bill Smith Award for representing Mercyhurst as a student athlete with the best hustle, pride, and desire.

After graduating from school, Kyle Gourgon made the difficult decision to not to pursue a professional career in hockey. He enjoyed his time away from the sport, and preferred to pursue a professional career in something other than hockey. Kyle Gourgon was fortunate enough to be offered a great job coming out of college, as a sales representative with Molson Coors. While hockey still remains a major part of his life, Kyle has enjoyed the experiences throughout this new chapter of his life.

Over the past year Kyle Gourgon served as a Mortgage Agent with Canadian Mortgage Forces. He counseled high net-worth individuals with regard to rental investment opportunities, risk analysis and monetary returns. Kyle specialized in building customized financial plans for his clients.

Kyle Gourgon has since transitioned back to Molson Coors where he is working as a Sales Representative with the company.
