Kyle Griffiths

Kyle is Newcastle born and bred. He grew up at Bar Beach surfing Bar Reef, playing rugby league for the South Newcastle Lions and attended St Francis Xavier's College in Hamilton. After school he studied at University of Newcastle before taking a break to travel abroad living in London and Copenhagen for a few years before returning to Australia where he completed his Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) from RMIT and started working in Financial Planning in Sydney in 2008.

For 5 years in Sydney he worked for a Boutique Practice in the CBD specialising in high net worth pre/retirees while he completed the Financial Planning Association's internationally recognised Post-Grad Certified Financial Planner® Professional Program. His next move was to gain experience helping younger clients build wealth at a larger multi-discipline financial services business for 2 years which included accounting, mortgage broking, legal, and property services and specialised in property investment and self-managed superannuation fund advice.

In 2016 he took the leap to go out on his own and establish Griffiths Wealth and moved back to god's country (Newcastle) in 2018. Aside from his B.Bus (FP) and CFP® qualifications he is also a Tax Financial Adviser, SMSF accredited, holds CERT IV's in Mortgage Broking and Real Estate services and is a Committee Member of the Newcastle Business Club.

In his spare time you'll find him with family and friends at the beach or supporting the mighty Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.
