KYLE KONE, MA, LAMFT
North Salt Lake, Heber City, and West Jordan
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is dedicated to providing a safe space so that people can be heard and supported.
I believe that what you focus on grows. Although this sounds simple, this idea brings with it various complications. Mental health and relationships can be difficult to cultivate sometimes. Through dialogue, self-discovery, work, reflection, and meaning-making, I help my clients expound on what they already know and simply add to it. Often, we limit our successes and failures by the actions that we perform and the immediate consequences therein. I believe that there is more to be explored than just behaviors and results. There is meaning and depth and sense of purpose that can be discovered. I find it beneficial to focus on meaning rather than just trying to avoid discomfort. I work to both edify and challenge my clients, in both direct and indirect ways. My style promotes a sense of safety and warmth.
I work with both English- and Spanish-speaking clients in a variety of mental health issues. I am currently clinically supervised by Bernell Christiansen, LMFT, PhD.
