Kyle McCloskey

Editor, Director, and Filmmaker in Tokyo, Japan

Hi there! I'm Kyle, a young filmmaker based in Tokyo, Japan. Making movies has been my passion since I was in second grade and used a combination of Legos and dinosaur figures to make a sequel to "Jurassic Park."

I graduated from Haverford College after studying English Literature and Film (I even received the "The Terry M. Krieger '69 Memorial Prize" for my writing!). While there, I wrote, directed and edited a short film inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's "The Music of Erich Zann" that was screened at film fests in America and Australia.

Currently, I work as a freelance DIT, editor, and videographer in Tokyo.

I'm developing a Japanese/English short film based on a selection from Dianne Highbridge's "In the Empire of Dreams."

If my work sounds interesting, feel free to drop me a line and say hello!
