Kylie Wright
Geologist, Earth Scientist, and Student in Austin, Texas
I’m an Economic Geologist at the University of Texas at Austin, Department of Geosciences, where I am finishing my M.Sc this August 2017. My thesis research explores the connection between copper mineralization and gold in an Indonesian ore deposit. My previous experience includes experience in 3D image analysis, geochemical research, supporting lab work and sample prep, and field work. My previous research experiences on igneous petrology in New Zealand, and ore deposit geology in Nevada and Indonesia have prepared me well to become an integral part of an energy, natural resources, or consulting firm. My interests beyond geologic research include economic policies that affect the global natural resources markets, emerging energy markets, and new technological developments within these industries. I am actively searching for a position in the energy and natural resources sectors. You can get in touch with me with a click on the button above.
