Kynnzie Polk

Lubbock, Texas

Kynnzie Polk is currently a Business Management major, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Kynnzie is very involved with an organization on campus where she is apart of the leadership team of a student lead Hip Hop crew. Her position as Social Chair has allowed her to be more involved with Net Working, and Public Relations in order for students to be more aware of upcoming events and what the team is about. She has had multiple work experiences that have helped her grow as a business student, but one stands out more than the rest when she started her own business as a dance instructor. All of the work she put into starting her business helped her in her journey to becoming an entrepreneur. Her interest, previous volunteer work, and local and international missions have given her the passion to start her own International Non-Profit organization that targets under privileged kids in the fight against drugs, violence, and child prostitution. Her goal in starting an Art Institute is to give kids who come from low-income families an outlet from their everyday lives, while using the Visual and Performing Arts as a way for the students to escape the norms of their society. She hopes to teach the kids leadership skills, while making a difference in not only their lives, but by helping them change their circumstances and where they come from as well.
