Kyra Hannah is a new writer and artist,based out of Melbourne, Australia. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Artsat Monash University, with a major in Philosophy and two minors in Bioethicsand Professional Writing. She began painting when she was two years old, butonly began to write with the goal of creating a novel at the age of sixteen.‘Genetic Cliché’ is her first novel, and is the culmination of almost fouryears of writing. Though it is a science fiction, dystopian-based book, Kyraalso enjoys writing more fantasy-based works. Her favourite authors include –but are not restricted to – Anne McCaffrey, Brent Weeks, Jodie Picoult andPeter F. Hamilton.

Kyra is treated as the youngest sibling ofthree – instead of the oldest – by her two brothers; is incompetently Australian-drysarcastic; is nonchalant about most matters in life that should not be treatednonchalantly; possesses an alarming lack of hand-eye coordination that makesfriends and family fear for her basic safety on a daily basis; adores any animal that is fluffy and chubby; and absolutelyloves anything vanilla flavoured.
