Katie Zeka

Born in Texas, to an aspiring actor (who eventually became quite well known) and his mistress, I was put up for adoption. Two days later I was adopted by a very loving couple. If only their love for each other could have been strong enough to keep them together. Their divorce was finalized when I was two and thus set into motion the series of events that led me to move to Iowa and become a farm girl!

I grew up tough, loving hard work and living for it! I dreamed to join the army and see the world! That unfortunately did not happen. What happened was much more adventurous! I became a MOM! My goal in life to seek out adventure and knowledge suddenly changed to one of shaping and molding my two children into intellegent, adventurous dreamers who will be able to make their dreams become reality!

During that time I have worked in a factory, cleaned hotel rooms, been a cashier, A CNA, an egg packer, and most recently a librarian. I also became a Certified Medical Transcriptionist during that time and now I am on to my next venture...becoming a welder!!!

That's right, I still dream big! I believe that welding will open many doors for me and take me places I have been dreaming of going! I want to be the best of the best and I aspire to someday own my own company! In my spare time I want to fiddle around with using welding to make art for me, my friends and family, and eventually sell it as well!!!

On top of all of that, I am an artist, writer, seamstress, and a wannabe chef!!! I love rock n roll and have not yet achieved my goal of learning to play the guitar, but I will eventually! And who knows, you may someday see me on the silver screen too!
