Dr Akila L K, MFA (Painting), M.Phil. (Art Therapy), PhD (Art Therapy), is an Art expressionist, facilitator and Artist, lives in Bangalore, India, has been teaching and learning the benefits of art making, and eager to see art therapy flourish in India. Being a founder of two art studios, she has a fortunate connection with children and adolescents to appreciate their mindset.
And founding "Indian International Institute for Art therapy and Research" is a new feather added to her cap. She is very keen to conduct art, art therapy, and neuroscience interdisciplinary study and dissemination in the fields of multiple modalities emphasising on socio-emotional dimensions of children and adolescent well-being through methodical investigation and organised networking.
