Hello, I am Linda Offray, Founder of Shepherd's Door Domestic Violence Resource and Education Center, a 501© nonprofit organization serving victims and survivors of abusers for 24 years. While working full-time and developing Shepherd’s Door, Linda also returned to school. She obtained a bachelor's Degree of Science in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources and an Associate degree in Christian Theology. Linda did not stop there. She went on to receive her Master's Degree in Public Administration. Linda’s contribution was noted nationally in 2002 when Shepherd’s Door received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation from the White House. The award recognized Linda's response to Shepherd’s Door's call on all Americans to dedicate at least three years, or 4,000 hours, of volunteer work in the community.
