Luis Rivera

Welcome. My name is Luis Alberto Rivera. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and since I was young I lived in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Currently, I'm studying on my second semester at the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. There I'm studying a degree in International Trade. Hopefully, this will be the place where I can complete all of my studies and be as specialist in business.

Since I was young I have a passion for business. I remember that when I was in elementary school I used to sell my own old toys at school and profit off them so then I could buy a snack on the cafeteria because my parents didn't give me money at the time for school. With my studies I want to successfully become a young entrepreneur and pay off all of my parents hard work for me and my little sister.

As mentioned before one of my main goals is to be able to be successful at a young age so I could pay off my parents work for me and my sister. Some other goals I've established are being owner of a company that I create, build a franchise or own part of one. In order to pursuit these goals I must first be able to successfully graduate and take every experience and knowledge from college and use it to my favor in order to take the first step and accomplish them. So far I'm being focused in moving forward no matter what and trying my best to keep a positive mindset.

The main purpose of this Wiki is to teach us how to be responsible and organized. This portfolio may not seem like much but maybe it will help you on a certain situation in the future for example when building a resume. Another view for this portfolio may be to develop some skills in us students. Finally, at the end of it we may see how we all grew as a class during the end of the semester. Hope you enjoy !
